Sick Society is an anonymous underground artist who emerged from the urban landscape of the Netherlands. Known for monumental, monochromatic portrait heads, the work appears along railway lines, on industrial walls, moving objects, and in forgotten corners. Raw, emotional, and immediate, these expressive faces stop viewers in their tracks. Like introspective sculptures in public space, they convey vulnerability, isolation, and inner tension, without words, but with maximum impact.

With this exhibition, Dutch Graffiti Library provides a platform for underground artists with a street-smart mentality. Without losing the energy of the street, Sick Society presents a curated selection of work in a museum context for the first time.

Sick Society’s practice aligns seamlessly with the gallery’s vision: capturing the raw energy of the street and amplifying the authentic power of urban underground art.
