The catalogue accompanying the exhibition Chris Daze Ellis: 40 ans de création features an essay by Christian Omodeo and brings together the artworks, photographs, and archival documents presented across the two exhibitions at Ghost Galerie and Château de Forbin in Marseille. Together, the exhibitions trace Chris Daze Ellis’ artistic development, focusing respectively on works from the 1980s and 1990s and on his most recent body of work.

After his trip to New York in late 1985, Disz returned to The Hague. Alongside continuing his work as a graffiti writer, he became an avid collector and further immersed himself in the history of New York graffiti.

In the early 1990s, he compiled everything into a 50 × 70 cm portfolio. A unique artifact containing not only newspaper clippings, but also photographs and rare memorabilia.

Manu Scriptus is a major tribute to all the cities, places, and creative people that @drawingskillstx has encountered throughout his career.

@drawingskillstx mission became to fit as much as possible in a graffiti style onto a single A4 sheet of paper (29.7 x 21 cm). Drawing on a micro scale, while ensuring that every detail remained perfectly sharp and recognizable.

@drawingskillstx tribute to the Dutch Graffiti and Hip Hop scene is being released as a book, for which the artist himself has launched a crowdfunding campaign.

Support this one and check it out through his account!

At the end of 2025, we left the Centrale Markthal in Amsterdam-West. That prompted us to capture what we had done there in book form. Partly for our own archives and for people who might be interested. With all the new developments and next steps of recent months, there was no focus on bringing it to completion. Today, we picked up the draft again for the first time in quite a while…

FUNKY LINES. This beautifully designed zine contains a selection of sketches and walls painted by Germany-based graffiti artist Sweetuno.

Growing up in the vibrant Basel graffiti scene of the mid-1990s, Sweetuno was surrounded by a city full of tags and a well-known train line covered in diverse styles. The search for identity through style, combined with a drive for constant improvement, remains at the core of his motivation. While his work is experimental, it always stays true to its roots.

Stolen artifact! Last week from our exhibition the ESSENCE.

In a recent article in newspaper Het Parool, the artifact was described as follows: “The booklet is no larger than a hand palm and looks somewhat well-thumbed. Yet it is displayed under a glass case as if it were the Crown Jewels. And in a way, it is. This is a publication by Ivar Vičs, better known as Dr. Rat, who in the late 1970s painted his name on Amsterdam’s walls in Gothic lettering, often accompanied by a sharp-snouted rodent.”

We hope the thief treats it with care and shows respect for what was taken: A example of Amsterdam’s cultural heritage that means more to many people than just a piece of paper. A real anchor to the past and foundation for the present.

Next week, we will add another item by Dr. Rat to the exhibition, because these objects deserve to be displayed to the graffiti scene and public.

On the slides: customized publication with red spray paint by Dr. Rat, Amsterdam 1980s.

Today marks one year since RHONE passed away.

Remembered not only as one of the most influential graffiti writers of his generation, but as a good guy, a king, and a true hip hop fanatic. Someone who lived fully through what he made.

Part of his ashes now travel through New York, carried inside the paint on the side of a subway train. Rolling through the birthplace of hip hop and graffiti culture. He would dig this so much.

Rest in paint, king.

Later this year, a publication dedicated to his life and work will be released through Ruyzdael Publishing — sharing his legacy, archive and impact with the world.

Chaze - Sndtrk1,

Chaze, “A few years ago, while moving, I came across an envelope filled with forgotten negatives. Out of curiosity, I had them scanned, not really knowing what I would find. And then, all at once, everything came back to me: the images, the places, the faces, the atmospheres. Memories I thought were lost. Fragments of life. It was at that precise moment that the idea for this book was born.”,
